A champion's journey isn't always smooth. Losing to Matt Hughes taught me an important lesson about confidence. I realized I was doing well in the fight, but my mindset held me back. It was frustrating, but it gave me a championship mentality. However, I became overconfident and lost to Matt Serra as a result. I learned that a perfect balance of confidence and fear is key to success in sports. I owe my mental edge to finding that balance.
