Certain professions like physics and math are highly employable as they plug into the operations of society. Artists and musicians often struggle for sustenance whereas engineers and physicists are in demand due to their problem-solving skills. Art often requires funding from individuals as it does not sustain itself, unlike science which can be driven by financial forces. Society needs to embrace artists for them to thrive, while the demand for engineers and physicists can be financially motivated.
