Considerations for making Hijra and staying in the West
The decision to make Hijra becomes an obligation for an individual if their E-man is plummeting and they are losing their identity and faith. However, from a community perspective, it is not practical for all Muslims in the West to make Hijra, as it is usually only the elite who have the privilege to do so. If all religious and practicing people were to leave, it would leave behind a void in terms of education, advocacy, and fighting for the rights of Muslims. Therefore, it is a Muslim's obligation to stay, advocate, get involved, and create policies that benefit the Muslim community, even if it means putting their children at risk.
