Confidence in Understanding the Trinity
Some preachers use jokes to defuse nervousness about the complexity of the Trinity, but this can inadvertently convey a lack of confidence. Despite the inherent complexity, it's important to approach the concept of the Trinity with confidence in the understanding that we know as well as God intends for us to understand it. While we may not have comprehensive knowledge of the Trinity, we do know that there is one God and three persons who each are that one God. Therefore, it's essential to proceed with confidence in our understanding, rather than conveying a sense of impossibility in comprehending the concept.
