However, at the scale of consciousness, these processes are simplified and span a wider time frame. In moments of mental fragmentation, such as during an accident, consciousness splinters into short, conflicting thoughts originating from different neural networks. Each fragment is focused on immediate impulses and lacks foresight, leading to internal conflicts.
