Astral Projection and Out of Body Experience

The experience of astral projection involves a profound sense of detachment where one perceives their physical body from an external vantage point, akin to observing from above. The experience can take on various forms; one might feel as if they possess an astral body that allows them to explore their surroundings freely, leading to feelings of excitement and fear depending on the environment encountered, such as proximity to the sea. As the exploration continues, the individual's sense of identity can morph, transitioning from a recognizable body to formless shapes, and ultimately to a point of observation. Attempting to return to one's physical body can prove challenging, as a mismatch in size and identity creates a disconnection, stimulating anxiety. The return process involves a struggle to align with the physical form, leading to an experience of merging with the universe, where the usual constructs of self, time, and space dissolve. This culminates in a state of non-duality, where the sense of self is lost, revealing an interconnected awareness that transcends typical perceptions of reality.
