Defining the Church's Function

It is essential to be honest and let God define what the church is and its function, rather than relying on institutions or history. This perspective requires imagination to see the church operating beyond traditional boundaries. Jesus had both the twelve apostles and the seventy disciples, indicating the presence of different circles within the church.
