When we talk about finding our identity in christ or something like that, where it can become really either in sitful or very problematic, from my perspective. I think christians should construct their lives in a way that is based on their beliefi in jesus. But i it's accepting the idea that their identity is determined by their self determination, right? It's like, i've chosen this for myself. So oftentimes what we mean when we say things like that is that, ah, we've accepted sort of a constructivist account of identity. Which isn't bad, obviously.
