Open Theism, Obedience, and the Power of Prayer
Open theism is a flawed theological concept that suggests God doesn't know the future, but this view is refuted as God's foreknowledge and omniscience are immutable. Prayer, therefore, is considered an act of obedience and a means to deepen one's relationship with God. Even though prayer isn't about informing God, it's still crucial as it aligns believers with His will. The act of prayer should not be centered on changing God's mind but rather on building a stronger bond with Him. Despite this, it's acknowledged that prayer does have the power to change circumstances, although God already knows the outcome.
