Understanding RDF and Semantic Markup
RDF, or Resource Description Framework, is a W3C standard for representing data as a graph, consisting of subject-predicate-object triples. It is widely used in semantic markup on web pages, with over half of web pages incorporating this knowledge graph. Large language models leverage RDF knowledge graphs to understand information gathered from the web. RDF serves as a universal format for representing data and metadata, similar to how HTML is used for presenting documents.
