We can never transcend our own context, as our understanding is limited and shaped by our experiences. This challenges the idea of universally valid principles, such as in Christianity, as our context and texts are never as stable as we think. Deconstruction is not a fixed worldview but a way of holding a position, reminding us not to hold positions too settled with complacency and self-assuredness, but to allow ourselves to be held.
