Is There a Hierarchy in Your PPA?
In any hierarchy, behavior would be the first thing that you need to get right in your classroom before you can do anything else. So I don't think hierarchy is a perfect metaphor, but I think it's a workable metaphor. The routines we have, the expectations of learning, then allow you to focus on your pedagogy. That gives us the space to think about how we teach.
