How to Tolerate Heel Pain
When you're sleeping, your ankle sort of rests in more of a plantarflex position. When you first get up out of bed, you go into dorsiflexion when you stand up and start walking. And that's what triggers the sensitivity to heel pain. But there are other things that you can do to yourself to modify the symptoms as well. A classic example is just rolling the bottom of your foot out. That's not going to change the load capacity of your plantar fascia, but it can change the symptoms pretty impressively, actually.
