Animals adapt to changing environments such as deforestation by developing sophisticated travel strategies. For example, a species of bat was found to locate ponds based on frog calls, not to eat frogs but to find insects, showing a high level of intelligence in navigation. Bats play a crucial role in controlling agricultural pests and also show skills in meteorology.
