Reflections on the Future and Excuses Made

The future feels unreal and full of potential, but it only becomes real when it becomes the present. It's easy to get distracted by the present and forget about the future. Our brains haven't fully grasped the reality of the future. We make excuses like 'I'll probably have a good job by then' or 'I don't need credit, I'll just buy a house'. As kids, we often dismiss our parents' advice as nonsense, only to realize later that they were right.
