Finding Emotional Anchors and Automation
When faced with important but non-urgent tasks, I struggle to stay focused. I often prioritize requests over the important work at hand. However, I realize that tying the importance of the task to quality time with my family, improved work quality, and better client responsiveness can motivate me to stay on track. To achieve this, I need to find emotional anchors and automate tasks as much as possible. Automation doesn't necessarily mean using a tool; it involves creating a system and defining outcomes. Once we have a clear process, we can consider using tools for automation.
