The Supreme Court, a Loading Theory

Fossil fuel industry cannot get this through congress, so instead, their turning to the court to invalidate things that are being produced either by congress or by administrative agencies. So they've been stocking the supreme court with people who will do their stuff for them, no matter how distasteful the american public finds it. And can you sort of focus on lo and the fossil fuel industry in his ear, telling him which we co go? What do we think about the prospect of the court serving essentially as a back up forum to do the kinds of things that you cannot accomplish in ordinary majoritarian politics?
