Maintaining team identity and belonging has always been crucial for our culture. We aimed to strike a balance where standards liberate teams, rather than restrict them. The introduction of standards and decentralization empowered teams, without turning our culture hierarchical or corporate. This transition involved establishing backstage, data plugins, documentation plugins, build visibility plugins, Kubernetes plugins, and templates for new services. The culture evolved towards a mindset where autonomy, team identity, standards, and transparency coexisted harmoniously.
