The world is experiencing a steady increase in abundance, around 3-4% per year. While this may not seem significant, it means that every 20 years, we get twice as much. It's like waking up to a 50% off sale. This gradual growth leads to a doubling of abundance every two decades. Instead of measuring things in money, we should focus on measuring them in time, as time is universally recognized and cannot be inflated or counterfeited. By doing so, we discover a world of superabundance.

Is it true that the world’s rapidly growing population is consuming the planet’s natural resources at an alarming rate that would require two Earths to satisfy the demand for natural resources by 2030? Marian Tupy and Gale Pooley found that resources became more abundant as the population grew. They also found that resource abundance increased faster than the population. On average, every additional human being created more value than he or she consumed.

Pooley has held professional designations from the Appraisal Institute, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and the CCIM Institute.
