Understanding the Different Workflows of Doing Science

Science involves connecting observed phenomena to concepts we can understand. Different scientific workflows include: prediction, where observed behavior is used to predict future outcomes; explanation, where human-understandable narratives are created for behavior; and creation, where discoveries with specific properties or interesting aspects are made.
