Starting from T-ball which evolves into competitive baseball and later travel baseball serves as a metaphor for the overwhelming nature of parenting. The creation of 'Friday night on the field' at a local Catholic church provided a space where kids could play freely while parents socialized. This initiative aimed to combat the trend of elite youth sports programs and the pressure on parents to make their children prodigies from a young age. By promoting a more relaxed parenting approach and allowing kids to play freely, the community addressed the anxiety and over-involvement of parents in their children's activities.
