Choosing God in Trials and Difficulties
Trials and difficulties in life provide us with the opportunity to become more like the Savior as we choose to be with the Lord and rely on Him. God's presence with Joseph was not because he was favored, but because Joseph continuously chose to be with the Lord, even in the face of unjust circumstances and trials. By choosing God in our own trials and difficulties, we can also receive the blessing of God being with us. This experience teaches us the profound lesson that if we know the greatness and love of God, He will consecrate our afflictions for our gain.
