Genuine interest in safety and public information requires a balanced perspective, rather than demonizing one material while ignoring serious problems with others. For instance, the metals industry is a greater source of toxic dioxins than plastics, yet this is often misrepresented. It is intellectually dishonest to misrepresent facts and push for alternatives without considering the complete picture.
