Survey on Millennials and Gen Z's Money Attitudes When Dating
The survey reveals that while younger generations do not want to discuss money or money topics when it comes to dating and finding a partner, they are still conscious about money when going out on dates. They consider the amount they need to spend and look for creative ways to save money while finding a partner. Surprisingly, many millennials and Gen Zers are willing to spend money on dating apps, with some paying over $25 a month for premium user experiences on multiple apps. Talking about money too early can hurt people's chances, as discussing topics like marriage, children, income, wealth, or debt on a first date can make the other person avoid a second date. In fact, 44% of respondents believe that discussing any money topics would ruin their chance of a second date.
