A writer finds that walking helps his brain work better, leading to new thoughts and progress in his writing. The story then shifts to the world's most famous pickpocket, Apollo Robbins, who demonstrates his skills by stealing a refill pen from a man named Jamal. The pickpocketing is revealed to be a trick, causing Jamal to question how it was done. The pickpocket then steals a wallet and a driver's license from a woman named Lisa, all the while engaging with the audience and allowing them to piece together the trick themselves.
