The Value of Progress and Self-Improvement in Relationships
In relationships, it is important to have a genuine intention to make progress and work on destructive cycles. The idea of true love involving accepting someone entirely, including their flaws, is seen as destructive. Instead, love should be seen as a classroom where two people, with generosity and kindness, help each other become the best version of themselves. This ancient Greek philosophy of love as a path to progress may seem unromantic in modern times, but love is considered a skill to be learned, not just an emotion to be felt.
