The mindset towards the future, whether viewing it as a fixed noun to reach or an active verb to create, is a significant differentiator among individuals. A positive example of this mindset was seen in Morocco, where a leader in renewable energy was focused on achieving energy independence and connecting with global energy grids. In contrast, in some places like America, there is a prevailing narrative of a failing grid and resistance to change, such as reluctance towards adopting solar power. The conversation highlights the importance of embracing a future that people desire to live in, rather than one they wish to avoid, which requires a willingness to let go of existing resources and power to envision a different future.
