NOTE

How to Critique and Improve Your in-Explicit Ideas

Implicit ideas work differently from explicit ideas, as explicit ideas can be easily criticized and improved, while implicit ideas are not readily accessible. However, it's been suggested that most of our ideas are implicit, and to change them, we need to change the environment in which they evolve. Techniques like focusing can help make implicit ideas explicit by accessing the unconscious and checking them against physical sensations. It's proposed that implicit ideas have their own internal language, and tools like focusing are needed to translate them. Learning explicit techniques to manipulate and understand one's emotions is just a special case of this process.
