In organizations, conflicts over sensitive issues can lead to power struggles and potential fracture. Navigating these dynamics requires individuals to remain connected in healthy ways with those they disagree with, to help lower anxiety and encourage healthy behavior. Individuals should be wary of feeling jealous or envious towards the relationships of others, as it could indicate that they are on the outside of a relationship triangle and may be attacking the other parties involved.
The triangle is the most stable form of human relationship. Learning to recognize a triangle and how to manage it is essential to being a non-anxious leader.
