Wanted to sell freakwave as a movie, became a comic

Initially aiming to create a film, the project evolved into a comic strip titled Freakwave, developed with writer Peter Milligan. This comic was themed around surfing and was a fusion of concepts likened to 'Mad Max' in a surf context. The unexpected shift from film to comic led to a successful career in American comics, culminating in the creation of Strange Days, which further transformed the original Freakwave idea through collaboration with Milligan and artist Brett Ewins.
