NOTE

Innovating the Electric Motor

Changing the magnetic field in static electromagnets induces eddy currents, creating magnetic forces between the stator and rotor, allowing for motor rotation. Early trials used a metal tin as the rotor, leading to the creation of a viable electric motor without sparks or a commutator. By organizing the phase of oscillation, the polyphase motor was developed, offering uniform and controllable motion. This innovation, although not done alone, marked a significant advancement in the electric system.
