NOTE

Chimpanzees and Dolphins

Social species such as chimpanzes and dolphins, if they are separated for some time, often happens. When they meet up with each he, theyare all delighted to see each other. But when one or other of these chimpanzees disappears back into the jungle, they never say farewell. I think it tells me something highly significant about how these animals see their place in the world. In a sense, it's that they do not anticipate a future. Andthis is linked this is linked between sociality and empathy. we can show beyond reasonable doubt, we never find in animals.
