The Game with Alex Hormozi
Teaching and Learning: Document, Demonstrate, Duplicate
To learn a skill, you need to document, demonstrate, and duplicate. Rather than being afraid of changing jobs, embrace the opportunity to get paid while learning. It may require you to lower your living expenses and take a pay cut, but it's worth it to gain valuable skills. Find a business that invests in you and communicates clearly about your learning goals. If they can't teach you internally, they may be willing to pay for external programs or certifications. Big corporations often have reinvestment programs because they want their employees to grow. Investing in skilled employees leads to higher productivity and value. Once you've learned all you can in a position, communicate your desire for more learning opportunities. And when you transition from learning to getting paid, remember to live below your means to take more risks in your professional life.
