How snacking impacts your health

NOTE

New Zoe research on snacking habits and its impact on health

New research from Zoe reveals that the timing and quality of snacks, not frequency, have the most impact on health outcomes. Snacking after 9pm, even with healthy snacks, was associated with an unfavorable BMI and increased risk of illnesses like cardiovascular disease. However, snacking earlier in the day with healthy options didn't have any negative effects. Nuts have been suggested as a good snacking option as they keep one satiated for longer.
