Getting Multiple Perspectives
The key insight from this snip is that people who are good at decision-making have the ability to think from multiple perspectives. They can tap into different personalities and think like different people at the same time. By doing so, they can analyze problems from different angles and make more informed decisions. Acquiring multiple lenses in life, through reading, traveling, and experiencing different cultures, allows individuals to broaden their perspectives and become less intolerant. Additionally, studying different philosophies enables people to see things from various viewpoints and adjust their thinking accordingly. Having multiple biases and personalities in our heads helps us predict outcomes and understand what different people would like or prefer.
