The Future of Generative AI

Generative AI has shown significant advancements in capabilities and performance, leading some to discuss the possibility of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) in the future. While AGI may not be imminent, the rapid progress in generative AI allows for multiple significant advancements. However, this progress should be approached with caution and thoughtfulness, considering both the opportunities and the potential negative implications. Generative AI has the power to create astonishing images and empower individuals to become designers to some extent. Yet, there is a need to ensure the quality of generated content and be mindful of the impact on society.
