Epigenetic clocks for humans and dogs

PNAS Science Sessions

NOTE

Cross-Species Epigenetic Clocks

We need such clocgs in order to translate biological insights from one species to another. So many treatments have failed to cross the species barrier, especially from mice to humans. By developing clocks that look at highly conserved stretches of diana, they are based, in essence, on the identical genes and therefore the same biologyte pathways. We have a tool that greatly increases the chance that the treatment translates.
