Would God Have Become Human to Save Us?

Is the incarnation itself primarily or ented towards our salvation? Or would god have become incarnate had we never sinned? That sounds like a, you know, kind of purely hypothetical question. But what aquines is trying to get is this issue, did god create the world from the beginning? In view of the incarnation, did god make everything in order to become incarnate.? So he would have done it any way, and as it were, he's now done it in a way that completes creation and redeems us from sin.
