I had no freaking clue about this way of being raised. And when I got to Stanford Law School, which was a school I didn't even know existed when I was younger. You have no sense of what that pressure cooker is like. It's not so much that we're inflicting too much stress on our kids. It's that we're not actually allowing them to experience enough stress in their lives.
