NOTE

Beware of Temptation and Accusation

Satan's lies manifest in two primary forms: temptation and accusation. Temptation fosters an inflated self-view, leading to prideful actions, while accusation cultivates a diminished self-view, resulting in self-hatred. In temptation, the focus is on God’s love, obscuring His holiness and disdain for sin. Conversely, accusation amplifies God's holiness and wrath, downplaying His love. This dichotomy serves to confuse believers, as demonstrated in the case of a depressed Christian who undervalued both himself and the Redeemer's promises. True awareness of one's sins is necessary, but it should not overshadow belief in God's grace and the redemptive power of Christ.
