NOTE

Evolution from Money to Information in the Age of AI

The shift from money to information as the main mode of discourse in the world is seen as a significant evolution in the age of AI. Money, viewed as a form of energy, has historically been a primary mode of discourse, facilitating the flow of resources. However, in the current landscape, information is becoming more valuable and sought after than money. Startups prioritize gathering data over monetary investments due to the potential for data monetization. The transition from the quest for money to the quest for information symbolizes a metaphysical shift in the narrative. As technology progresses, digitization enables the transformation of matter into information and vice versa, creating a cyclical pattern with significant implications. Over time, money is expected to diminish in importance as advancements in technology and resource management improve human quality of life globally. Despite the optimism surrounding technological progress, societal systems, institutions, and infrastructure are not adequately prepared for the ongoing transformation. The discord between paleolithic emotions, medieval institutions, and godlike technology presents challenges that leaders will need to address in the foreseeable future to bridge the existing gaps and ensure societal progression.
