Information Processing in the Brain

Information processing in the brain occurs through a model with short-term memory and many long-term memory processes. Inputs from the outside world are received, processed by long-term memory, and outputs are generated. Long-term memory processors determine which information is sent to short-term memory through a competition of chunks of information. The brain utilizes a language called brainish, which is multimodal, including senses, vision, and sound.
