Invention vs. Discovery in Mathematics
The complexity and memory requirements of an object in mathematics can indicate the level of invention involved. The more memory required to store a mathematical theorem, the more invented it is; conversely, the less memory required, the more discovered it is. In mathematics, inventing a structure and inventing an airplane are considered the same concept due to the infinite number of theorems in existence.
