The Practical Spiritual Cosmology of the Schwar Tribe
The schwar tribe I work with uses various substances for spiritual purposes, with Ayahuasca being the most popular. They see their spiritual cosmology as practical, valuing results. Some shamans have the ability to ingest mind-altering substances to help the tribe, gained through intense experiences of near-death or madness. This forms the basis of my substance study.
