WTF is with Nikhil Kamath

NOTE

Low-cost production of fatty acids with refinery waste water

Refineries produce organic content in waste water which can be broken down to short chain fatty acids, used as a precursor for electron generation. This process costs 40 rupees per kilogram. However, adding compression for hydrogen use increases the cost to 112 rupees per kilogram, still one fourth of the market price. Compared to long off-take agreements with large corporations, the cost is significantly lower at about 400 bucks per kilogram. This low-cost production of fatty acids from refinery waste water presents a unique use case for OSSIS with a different perspective from the mobility angle.
