The Differences Between SIF and Other Systems
SIF is a data interchange solution that specifies both a data model and a transport model, unlike many other systems that only specify a data model. It provides a standard definition of student elements, allowing for data transformation and transfer between systems. SIF is event-based and operates very quickly, enabling rapid enrollment of students in various systems within minutes of enrollment in the Student Information System.
