The bi-directional relationship creates trust minimization, leading to a manipulation-resistant verifiable web. Instead of relying on manipulatable systems, such as banks and insurance companies, a verifiable web allows users to verify that their assets are secure and that they will receive the payments they are owed. This can especially benefit those in countries with limited insurance options, as the use of stablecoins, smart contracts, and Oracle networks can provide a parallel system of contracts and ensure that farmers receive compensation for weather-related damages. While there are challenges in developed markets, our industry has the opportunity to shine by creating a more reliable and efficient global system.
