Inside Exercise

NOTE

Exercise Increases Muscle Protein Synthesis Response to Food Intake

Exercise increases muscle protein synthesis and makes muscles more sensitive to the anabolic properties of food intake. This effect can last up to 48 hours after exercise. Ingesting protein immediately after exercise is not necessary, as the body will still have a greater response to protein intake for the next 24 hours.
