Sam Altman grew up in the St. Louis area, obsessed with computers from a pretty early age./nThis obsession led to him becoming a computer nerd in high school, and it was clear to him that this was what he wanted to do./nSam's parents never pushed him to do something he didn't want to do, and this allowed him to pursue his passion for computers without feeling pressured./nThe computer revolution is as big of a deal as the other great technological revolutions of the past, and we should be aware of this and appreciate it.
