Hemispheric Attention Styles
The brain's hemispheres have distinct attention styles - the left hemisphere focuses on narrow, targeted attention for essential tasks like finding food or building, while the right hemisphere pays attention to the broader, holistic picture by looking out for predators, kin, and the environment. These different attention styles lead to the brain creating two versions of reality. Both hemispheres are involved in all tasks, disproving the previous notion of one being for reason and language and the other for pictures and emotions.
